Richard Lynch Consulting are recruiting a General Manager for a multi-site restaurant business in Co Tipperary. The ideal candidate must come from a very strong restaurant/hotel background with a proven track record in a similar role. This candidate must be customer-focused, driven, and willing to work as part of the team to deliver an excellent level of service. This is primarily a daytime role, with the current working week ending at 6:30 pm, and seasonal hour changes depending on the business's needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the food and beverage operation across all units.

  • Utilise strong interpersonal management skills in daily operations.

  • Maintain excellent attention to detail in all duties and responsibilities.

  • Take a hands-on approach when carrying out duties and responsibilities.

  • Uphold high standards across all sites.

  • Manage the current team in place.

  • Oversee stock levels.

  • Organise rosters for the team.

  • Work five out of seven days.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understand current market trends for new concepts in the sector.

  • Manage day-to-day operations effectively.

  • Demonstrate proven strengths in operational management within successful restaurants/bars.

  • Exhibit strong delegation skills during busy operations.

  • Be very customer-focused and enjoy this aspect of the job.

  • Show excellent attention to detail.

  • Be energetic and forward-thinking, adding creativity to the operation.

JOB TYPE:

  • Full-time, Permanent

SALARY:

  • Up to €50,000 per year
