Richard Lynch Consulting are recruiting a Director of Food & Beverage. This role involves leading the management team for food and beverage outlets, ensuring service and hygiene standards are met, and managing the total food and beverage sales budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the department and ensure ongoing training and development of all team members.

  • Maintain excellent communication within your department and with other departments, liaising regularly with senior management.

  • Achieve food and beverage gross profit margin each month.

  • Maximise revenue by effectively managing hotel operations across food and beverage outlets.

  • Manage payroll costs for the department.

  • Organise the efficient operation of all food and beverage outlets in the hotel.

  • Ensure staff communication and training.

  • Develop the department further.

  • Be a visible, strong presence across food and beverage outlets, mobilising and providing direction to your departmental managers.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in bars and restaurants.

  • Previous experience in delivering 5-star food and beverage service.

  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

  • Knowledge of the Volante system is an advantage.

  • Positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.

  • Self-motivated with good personal organisation.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, negotiation, and communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English.
