Duty Manager for a 4* Hotel in Galway

Richard Lynch Consulting are recruiting an experienced Duty Manager, primarily responsible for Food and Beverage Operations, to join a 4* Hotel in Galway. This role requires the effective and efficient management of all restaurant, bar, and events business, coordinating all day-to-day activities in the hotel during your shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the hotel.

  • Lead and guide the team as required during service/shift.

  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail.

  • Observe all shift and opening/closing procedures.

  • Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.

  • Manage busy food and beverage operations, outlets, and room service.

  • Handle small weddings, conferences, and meetings.

  • Assist with front office tasks, including check-in/out procedures.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in managing busy food and beverage operations.

  • Experience in managing small weddings, conferences, and meetings.

  • Front office training and ability to assist in this area.

  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.

  • Reliable, committed, motivated, and professional.

  • Positive attitude with a “can do” approach and approachable style.

  • Duty management experience in a 4* hotel in Ireland preferred.

  • Full legal status to work in Ireland is required (no work permit available for this role).
