Richard Lynch Consulting are recruiting a General Manager for a prominent GastroPub in Co. Clare. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of all food, beverage, and events business at the property, coordinating the team and overseeing all day-to-day operations on the premises.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the GastroBar/Restaurant premises.
Manage, lead, mentor, and guide the team as required.
Establish procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail.
Manage the premises effectively, coordinating security, health, and safety.
Handle full responsibility for managing tills, cash procedures, food and beverage pricing, sales, promotions, special events, stock control, rostering, and achieving monthly margins.
Observe all shift and opening/closing procedures, adhering to all EHO guidelines.
Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all, including team and guests.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in managing a busy volume Gastro Bar and quality food service operation.
Experience managing a busy front-of-house team and an excellent kitchen brigade.
Effective, dynamic leadership and team management abilities.
Reliable, committed, motivated, and professional.
Strong attention to detail, standards, and service-driven.
Proven experience in coaching, training, and mentoring your team.
Positive attitude with a “can do” approach and friendly, outgoing personality.
Minimum 2 years of general management experience, ideally in a quality GastroPub locally.
Fluent English and excellent IT and administrative skills.
Full legal status to work in Ireland is required (no work permit available for this role).
