Richard Lynch Consulting are recruiting a Front Office Manager for a busy 4-star hotel in Cork. The main purpose of the Front Office Manager role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office department and its team by directing and managing all operations and employees to obtain the highest quality of service, providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free, and proactive service to customers. This will ensure all the hotel’s guests' requests are met at all times by offering excellent customer service while maximising revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office department and its team.

  • Direct and manage all operations and employees to provide high-quality service.

  • Ensure guests receive a warm welcome, and lead and motivate the team to deliver personal customer-focused standards.

  • Ensure rate adherence, cross-selling, and up-selling targets are met.

  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and service at the front desk.

  • Provide professional and friendly service to guests.

  • Flexibility in working morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Skills in hotel operations, guest relations, front of house management, standards and service, front office management, reservations experience, and Guestline.

  • Permission/right to live and work without restriction in Ireland.
